CJE SeniorLife Offers Free Assistance to Older Adults in Finding and Applying for Various Types of Housing
CJE SeniorLife offers free assistance to older adults and their families in finding and applying for various types of housing through its Consumer Assistance Program. Services range from locating affordable and appropriate market rate housing in the community to subsidized housing and assisted living.
CJE SeniorLife helps clients locate and fill out applications for subsidized housing, makes referrals for housing in Chicago and the surrounding suburbs, and mediates landlord-tenant disputes. The agency’s housing specialists also work with homeless seniors to find temporary and permanent housing.
The Housing Resources program is supported by the Chicago Department of Housing and CJE SeniorLife. For more information about assistance with housing options for seniors, please call CJE SeniorLife at 773/508.1000.
