Marie Leaner

Since starting her real estate career in 2003, Marie Leaner has displayed a proven track record and natural knack for real estate with a specialty in luxury short sales and distressed properties in Chicago’s lakefront neighborhoods. As the head of The Leaner Group, she is dedicated to her clients and has shown prowess in land acquisition, supported bulk purchase buyers and helped clients understand the 1031 exchange.  Leaner is a member of the Chicago Association of Realtors (CAR), Illinois Association of Realtors (IAR), Women’s Council of Realtors, and holds designations including Associate Distress Property Representative (ADPR), Transnational Referral Certification (TRC), Accredited Short Sale (ASD) and Institute for Luxury Home Marketing (ILHM). Moreover, Leaner has been recognized as a top agent in Chicago as the Top Individual Agent 2005--Chicago Properties, a Multi-Million Dollar Producer 2004-2010 and on the Agent Leadership Council 2003-2010. Leaner lives in Chicago’s Gold Coast neighborhood and has personal interests in genealogy, film and music.

Lauren Schreyer

With a father who was a single family home builder in desirable Glencoe, Lauren Schreyer grew up with real estate in her blood, indicated by the first 25-years of her career as an interior designer and then honing her market expertise with getting her real estate license in 2003. Her combined passion for interior design and real estate has enabled her to both help clients select the perfect home and then customize their purchase for their needs—as well as consulting with developers to position their projects for their target markets—under budget and ahead of schedule. Schreyer is a member of American Society for Interior Designers (A.S.I.D) and the National Trust for Historic Preservation. She has a broad knowledge of real estate markets throughout the country as she lived in Phoenix, Houston and Los Angeles. She continues to manage projects throughout the country including Florida and Indianapolis and she has been nationally published for her work.  A colon cancer survivor, Schreyer founded Design for a Cure, a foundation which focuses on Colon Cancer Research and Awareness. She lives in Chicago with her dog and enjoys scuba diving, golf, horseback riding and skiing.

Marnie Beilin

Marnie Beilin launched her real estate career in 1994 and has helped literally hundreds of clients buy and sell all forms of real estate throughout Chicagoland, from Hyde Park to Rogers Park and everything in between. In recent years she has developed her niche as the realtor to the Ph.D.’s and Deans of Chicago, often working with faculty and staff of UIC, Northwestern University and University of Chicago. Beilin is ranked in the top 5 percent of realtors in Chicago and has been recognized multiple years for selling more than $5 million. She also holds Qualified Service Certification (QSC) and Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) designations. Beilin recently moved to Wilmette and also fundraises for the National AIDS Foundation of Chicago, volunteers at Chicago Cares and is an avid sailor, tri-athlete and marathon runner.

Jennifer Bradley

Jennifer Bradley is thrilled to join the Coldwell Banker team, citing the tools and network as a huge benefit for her business and clients in what she calls a “pre-boom” market. With nearly 11 years working in real estate, she truly loves her job and works across all types of real estate properties with many different sellers and buyers; listing in Uptown, Lakeview and Edgewater are her specialty neighborhoods. Bradley moved to Chicago from Milwaukee in 1991 and has a diverse background in performance, recruitment and research and development. She loves helping clients find the missing puzzle piece and is passionate about ongoing training and development and is a member of CAR, IAR and the National Association of Professional Women. In 2005, 2006 and 2007, her real estate partnership Chi-Town Home Sales received Top Team of the Year for the Mid-America region. Bradley lives in Uptown with her husband, their two Westies and two cats. She studied French, Spanish and Swedish and is currently getting her Ph.D. in Adult Education and Higher Learning.

Jose Hernandez

Jose Hernandez has been working in the real estate industry for seven years and has found his niche in helping buyers and sellers of distress properties focus on short sales in the Downtown, North and Northwest neighborhoods of Chicago intimately. In order to stay abreast of industry best practices in this area, he holds a Short Sales & Foreclosure Resource Certification to help his clients best reposition their property to avoid foreclosure and is also a member of CAR, IAR and NAR. Hernandez has been a Chicago resident for 26 years and knows the city inside and out. He’s also a proud father of three children and enjoys travel and exercise in his free time.
