On April 17, Alaka Wali, Curator at the Field Museum of Natural History, talked about “Seekers of Refuge: The Amazon’s Hidden Peoples” at the Wilmette Public Library. The program was the first in the series of events for the library's 2012 "One Book, Everybody Reads" program, which is featuring Ann Patchett's "State of Wonder" this year.
