The non-partisan honor is presented by New Trier Democrats to a student who displays exemplary qualities of leadership and public service.
As a freshman at New Trier’s Northfield campus, Ms. Arden became a leader in Names Can Really Hurt You, an anti-bullying program now presented each year. She continued involvement on the Winnetka campus developing a Pledge program raising student awareness about respecting differences.
