Due to the forecast for storms tonight, the North Shore Mosquito Abatement District has canceled the Adult Mosquito Control Operations originall set for tonight.

The North Shore Mosquito Abatement District (NSMAD) will be conducting targeted adult mosquito control operations in several North Shore communities on Wednesday, with the majority of it in Wilmette, between 8 p.m. and 2 a.m., weather permitting, according to the NSMAD. 

Wilmette

• From Lake Avenue South to Central Street in Evanston and from 5^th Street west to 15^th Street. See map. 

Wilmette and Evanston 

• From Lake Avenue south to Central Street in Evanston and from 5^th Street east to the lake. See map. 

• From Lake Avenue south to Central Street in Evanston and from 15^th Street west to Hunter Road. See map. 

• From Lake Avenue south to Old Glenview Road and from Hunter Road west to Hibbard Road. See map. 

 Wilmette and Glenview

• From Lake Avenue south to Old Orchard Road and from Hibbard Road west to Harms Road. 

Wilmette and Kenilworth

• From Winnetka Avenue south to Lake Avenue, and from Green Bay Road east to the lake. See map. 

Wilmette, Kenilworth and Winnetka

• From Winnetka Avenue south to Lake Avenue and from Green Bay Road west to Hunter Road. See map. 

Northfield, Wilmette and Winnetka

• From Winnetka Road south to Lake Avenue and from Hibbard Road west to about Happ Road. See map. 

Winnetka and Wilmette

• From Hill Road south to Lake Avenue and from Ridge Road west to Hibbard Road. See map.
