Blizzard 2011 Weather Forecast

More than 20 inches of snow is expected.

 

Today: A chance of snow and freezing drizzle before noon, then snow. Widespread blowing snow after 3pm. High near 26. Windy, with a northeast wind between 20 and 30 mph, with gusts as high as 40 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90%. Little or no ice accumulation expected. Total daytime snow accumulation of 1 to 3 inches possible.

Tonight: Snow and widespread blowing snow. The snow could be heavy at times. Some thunder is also possible. Low around 18. Wind chill values as low as -2. Very windy, with a northeast wind between 30 and 35 mph, with gusts as high as 55 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New snow accumulation of 10 to 16 inches possible.

Wednesday: Snow showers before 6am, then snow and widespread blowing snow before noon, then snow likely after noon. The snow could be heavy at times. High near 25. Wind chill values as low as -2. Windy, with a north northwest wind between 20 and 30 mph, with gusts as high as 55 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90%. New snow accumulation of 4 to 8 inches possible.

Wednesday Night: Mostly cloudy, then gradually becoming mostly clear, with a low around 2. Wind chill values as low as -13. West northwest wind between 10 and 15 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph.
