Wilmettans gathered along the Lake Michigan shore for International Coastal Clean Up Day Saturday morning. Dozens of residents gathered from what is informally known as Elmwood Beach to Langdon Park for three hours.

Roughly 76 pounds of trash was collected during the event, which was co-organized by the Alliance for the Great Lakes.
