The Chicago Sun-Times reported that a Cook County Circuit Court Judge on Monday gave the two sides in a recent Evanston Wilmette Community Golf Course lawsuit 28 days to try to resolve their differences away from court.
Last week, it was announced that two directors of the Evanston-Wilmette Golf Course Association had filed a lawsuit against board president John Losasso and the nonprofit association that runs the golf course, alleging that Losasso ignored the association’s bylaws, breached his fiduciary duties and acted nearly unilaterally in various closed-door business dealings.

According to the article, the judge worried that a prolonged court case could deplete the defendant’s resources.
