New Trier Alums Create Facebook App for Biz Referrals
The North Shore residents developed an application to help users find local businesses based on friends’ recommendations.
New Trier High School alumni Chris Pauly and Brian Piggott have developed a Facebook and mobile app that allows users to review, share and recommend trusted local businesses among friends– much like Yelp but on a personal level, Wilmette Life reported.

"We started eMazeMe as a way for family and friends to organize and share their favorite local service providers with the goal of supporting local business and non-profits by keeping more dollars spent locally," according to the company's Facebook page.
Pauly and Piggot created eMazeMe, an online community that allows users to seek bids from local businesses for services, and the Facebook and mobile app is one aspect of the business, according to the company’s website.

Founded in June 2011, the company is based in Northfield and lists three board members—John Keenan, Doug Breaker and Matt Phillips, according to BuiltinChicago.org.
Pauly, a Wilmett resident, and Piggott, a Northfield resident, hopes to grow eMazeMe to sell advertising space as well as offering coupons or special offers from local merchants, Wilmette Life reported.
