This State of the Union speech is a joke. More class warfare, more plans to spend money we don't have, more pandering to the unemployed and people who bought homes they couldn't afford. I can't wait to get rid of this failed president.

This monstrosity currently occupying the once venerated White House is the most arrogant entity who ever squatted there.
It doesn't take much to hear how often he says things like "my Cabinet," "they should bring a plan to me," "my staff," my-this and my-that and on and on. He is nothing but a cheap Chicago politician who was NEVER known for anything as a state senator or as a US Senator...except speechifying with teleprompters, that's all.
Hollywood glitz and no substance or products. The guy's on a perpetual vacation commanding thousands to cater to his travel whims and the royal vacations of Queen Michele and her family.
His financial plans?

The media, however, occasionally accidently shows the "quality" of his supporters.

Who helped Mrs. Hughes? Many of the media "news" items mentioned she got a "free house" but never said from whom. NEVER GET SUCKED IN BY A NEW ARTICLE ON POLITICS.

More of the same empty hope and change rhetoric we've become accustomed to. The make up of his demographic is painfully obvious, but then again it always has been. Last night resembled more of a campaign speech than a state of the union address.

Since I find all political speeches tedious, I choose not to watch them. Tell me, who is his demographic?

The President said during his speech that he and others in Congress should be paying higher taxes. Well, go ahead and pay the higher taxes and lead by example. Since more then half the '1%' are Democrats then they should all volunteerly be paying the higher tax rate. Put your money where your mouth is or is this just rhetoric to appeal to the base?

The President is right "Everybody" should pay their fair share. Rich or Poor everyone should pay income taxes.
Clark Kent

Define "fair."
Tax politicians at 99%, lobbyists at 98% and Democrats (who want to help everybody but the working stiffs of the US) at 247.93% .

Was the question too difficult for you? Who is his demographic? If you are going to make an implication, I would hope you would be prepared to explain it.

How did you so eloquently put it in a previous post? If I remember correctly you used the term “those people”. Or was it “these people”?

How is that relevant? Just answer the question.

Not that I take direction from a limp wristed liberal, but I'll stick with: "those people".

Um, Targets- you are asking about a totally different topic- that topic was in relation to District 46 schools. This topic, the topic of the SOTU speech, is what YOU were addressing and what I was inquiring about. So sorry if you are offended, but I'm guessing you're a big boy. Then again, though, I've actually seen no proof of that. Never mind.

Um, Sully - apparently the question was too difficult for you. What did you mean by your comment "these people"? You made an implication which you should be prepared to explain. The thread in which the conversation was taking place is irrelevant, as "these people" certainly cannot have a different meaning in a thread related to D46 than in a thread related to the SOTU address. Just answer the question. Your creditability is deteriorating.

This is more of the Trotskyite Class Warfare out of Obama. He's a member of the Democrat Party but his actions are purely Socialism. Socialism is a term to dodge the Communism name of the 20's & 30's. Communism prevails only by dictatorship. Obama's own words repeatedly have that din, when he says that opposition is bad when it thwarts his heavy-handedness. We know that anarchy exists only so long as they are out of power, then they become dictators.
As for wealth, I'm certainly not in the 1% - far from it. More than 1% of us see what a phony he is. The recession did occur under Bush but with Democrats holding both houses of Congress. It has continues with Harry Reid & Obama. Put the blame where it belongs!

Communist? That's where the right is going with this now? Look, just because the Republican Primary Circus is showing how ridiculous these pandering right wing politicians are, calling Mr. Obama a Communist is just pure Desperation.

More than being a commie, this Obamanation is merely a boytoy for the big money interests, Saul Alinsky look-a-likes, the loony left and some of the PATCH "journalists."
I shall now deliver my State of the Union:
Patriots! The goof in the White House has screwed up America. He wants teamwork but only if he is the captain of the team, or as the arrogant fraud would say..."MY TEAM."
End of the State of the Union.

Here goes Sadin AGAIN promoting a candidate for no apparent reason (but we do understand why, we really do) and passing the info off as "news." T
This is another reason why our country is so screwed up...surreptitious and personal use of the media to promote personal candidacies. With "journalists" like this guy PATCH is quickly becoming a SuperPac-like instrument for the distribution of partisianship favoring Democrats...and more. The "free press" at work in America..hahahahaha!
Here's an example of how such political lies and propoganda begin with "journalists" who pass themselves off as professionals, but in reality are nothing more than mouthpieces for their personal "causes" trying to wrap their opinions in "news" items like the one about Ilya. Shame on him. Sadin is just trying his "magic" for Ilya like a shaman.
Journalism ????????

Sadin is another example of this...making it seem so innocent. He, Ilya and Marshall are the same in so many ways.

Of course, Whiny, of course. "These people" would be those who attack school board members regardless of the topic of the conversation just in order to attack. Now, please return the favor by answering my question.
