Wilmette's Harper Elementary School community celebrated the new school year on a beautiful fall day during Sunday's 9th Annual Harper Hoedown.
The event, sponsored by the Harper School Parent Teacher Organization (PTO), featured live music from local musicians, food, rides, games and pony rides.
"It was a great day for a really fun family event," wrote Susan Parker, Harper PTO communications chair, in a Monday email.
