Members of the New Trier Township High School District 203 school board are considering allowing advertising on school property and giving the school the right to name facilities after big donors as a way to raise extra funds during tough economic times. Adverstising is currently not allowed on campus and facilities can only be named after former district employees.

So what do you think? Take our poll and tell us more about how you feel in the comments section. Who would you like to see get naming rights at New Trier facilities? Whose name would you not want to see on campus

Maybe, they should cross off "Fairchild Books" on it's textbooks & repackage Gaiter-aid into generic containers. Maybe, students should be required to pull the labels off of their jeans & other clothing. Teachers should remove "Ford" & "BMW" from their cars if they wish to park at school.

Some advertising in limited areas, say the football stadium should be tolerated. In the classroom, probably not.
