Readers' Choice: Grocery Stores

Where is your favorite place to shop for groceries in New Trier Township?

We want to know where you go when you're picking up something to cook for dinner or need detergent for laundry day.

This week, we're focusing only on full-service grocery stores. No offense meant to the little guys, maybe we'll have a specialty food store contest later. And we're open to suggestions — if there's a Readers' Choice you want to see, let us know.

Here are this week's contenders. In addition to voting for them in the poll below, you can click on their names to leave a review in our extensive business directory.

Dominick's Finer Foods: 1822 Willow Rd., Northfield

Grand Food Center: 341 Hazel Ave., Glencoe

Grand Food Center: 606 Green Bay Rd., Winnetka

Jewel-Osco: 411 Green Bay Rd., Wilmette

Jewel-Osco1517 Sheridan Rd., Wilmette

Lakeside Foods: 800 Elm St., Winnetka

The Fresh Market: 3232 Lake Ave., Wilmette

Treasure Island: 911 Ridge Rd., Wilmette

Winners will be decided by a combination of poll votes and reviews on their directory page. Polls close at 9 a.m. Friday and we'll announce the winner later that day. (Official rules are on the PDF above.)

I don't shop at any of these stores unless I need something in a hurry. These stores are over priced. I go to Trader Joe's in Glenview and the Village Market in Skokie.
