Patch Pets: Tillie & Meme, Kensy

Tillie and Meme
Tillie and Meme are super loving sisters who are looking to find a home together! Tillie is a very friendly 2 month old tabby kitten. She loves to cuddle and play with her best kitten friend Meme. One of her favorite things to do is chase Meme all over the house. Tillie likes to put her toys in the bath tub and bat them all over. Meme is a very sweet 2 month old black and white kitten who loves to cuddle people when they are watching TV or reading. She loves when you talk to her, and she will even talk back. Meme enjoys walking around with her stuffed toys in her mouth and she really likes to play in boxes and hide, and then jump out to play with Tillie. Meme really enjoys playing in her big cat tree and with her laser light toy. She just loves to run up and down like crazy. She sleeps with Meme and they both put their paws around each other while cuddling and sleeping. These two girls are an amazing pair!

Kensy is a beautiful black Labrador Retriever mix! He came to Heartland from a Southern Illinois humane society. He is approximately 1 year old and weighs 44 pounds. He is not too big and not too small. Kensy is a very nice dog! He is friendly and loving. Kensy is looking forward to becoming part of his new family soon, so if you are looking for a nice dog, hurry to Heartland today! Kensy is waiting to meet you! Credit Jenny Nogle

Adoption Information - Heartland's cat adoption fee of $100 includes up-to-date vaccinations, spay/neuter, deworming, FIV/Feline Leukemia test and a microchip.Kitten adoption fees are slightly higher and reduced rates are often offered for special needs cats.

Heartland's dog adoption fee of $225 includes up-to-date vaccinations, spay/neuter, deworming, Heartworm test, and a microchip.  Puppy adoption fees are slightly higher and reduced rates are often offered for special needs dogs.

Heartland Animal Shelter, located at 2975 Milwaukee Avenue in Northbrook, is open on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 4-7 p.m. and on Saturdays and Sundays from 12-4 p.m.
