Weather Hinders Revenues at Wilmette Golf Course

Last month's revenue dropped $61,000 compared to May 2010.

Cold and rainy weather have had a heavy hand in Wilmette Golf Club's May revenue dropping $61,000 compared to last year, according to Triblocal.

“The weather has certainly been difficult this spring and rounds are down significantly,” Park District Commissioner Mike Murdock told Triblocal. Meanwhile, the decline has been somewhat offset by a $35,000 increase in membership. Conditions have also led to an increase in maintenance.
