Wilmette Blotter: Lamps and Planters Damaged

Marijuana possession
Peter J. Salvato, 25, was charged with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia after he was stopped for a traffic violation at 7:42 p.m. Jan. 12 in the 1000 block of Illinois Road.
Criminal damage to property
The lamps were knocked off two lampposts between 10 a.m. Jan. 7 and noon Jan. 10 at a vacant house on Canterbury Court.
A cedar fence and two wrought iron-planters were damaged between Dec. 30 and Jan. 8 at a home in the 500 block of Washington Street.
Fake ID
William M. Crane, 20, of Winnetka, was charged with using a fake ID and possession of alcohol by a minor after police allegedly saw him leaving Foremost Liquors with a 30-can case of Busch Light.
Fraud
A credit card owned by a resident of the 1600 block of Sheridan Road was used between Dec. 12 and Jan. 15 to make three fraudulent credit card charges totaling $307 to Consolidated Communications Public Services Department, a money transfer system for State of Illinois inmates.
