The following incidents were reported between Aug. 15 and 22 by the Wilmette police.
BURGLARY RESIDENTIAL A security alarm alerted police to a break-in at a home in the 100 block of Garrison Avenue about 9:32 p.m. Aug. 20. When police arrived, they discovered the patio door ajar, muddy footprints, a prying tool and both window screens removed in the kitchen. The residents went out of town that day, according to the report. BURGLARY MOTOR VEHICLE A car in the 400 block of 5th Street was burglarized between 7 p.m. Aug. 20 and 3:30 a.m. Aug. 21. The unlocked 2006 Audi's center console had been opened and ransacked. The missing items were later found at the scene of another burglary that occurred Aug. 21. --- A resident of the 300 block of Laurel Avenue approached police on Aug. 21 to report a burglary of his son's unlocked …

The following incidents occurred between July 25 and 27, according to Kenilworth police reports.
POSSESSION OF CANNABIS A 20-year-old Chicago man was stopped at 12:28 a.m. for a traffic violation in the 400 block of Sheridan Road on July 25. A search revealed that the man was in possession of cannabis and he was subsequently charged. DRIVING VIOLATIONS A 27-year-old Chicago man was stopped at 1:55 a.m. in the 400 block of Green Bay Road on July 26 for a traffic violation. It was later discovered he was driving on a suspended license, for which he was charged. --- A 31-year-old Chicago woman was stopped in the 100 block of Green Bay Road at 9:56 a.m. July 27 for a traffic violation. Police later discovered that the woman was driving without a license. She was subsequently charged by police.

The following incidents were reported between June 17 and June 16, according to police.
DRUG POSSESSION ARREST Two Wilmette teenagers were arrested about 3:50 p.m. June 26 after police found them allegedly smoking marijuana in a car parked in the 1100 block of Wilmette Avenue . The 17-year-old driver at first told police she was smoking cigarettes, but she and a front-seat passenger admitted to smoking pot. Police found a plastic bag containing cannabis on the car's console. The two were issued tickets for possession of cannabis. A backseat passenger was later released to walk home. --- A 46-year-old Wilmette resident was arrested in the 1100 block of Central Avenue on June 17 and charged with possession of cannabis and drug paraphernalia.
