Church of the Holy Comforter in Kenilworth is pleased to present its 58th Annual Housewalk and Boutique on Wednesday, October 3, 2012, from 9:30 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. Four architecturally stunning and beautifully appointed North Shore homes will be featured, including one "Nantucket on the North Shore" lakefront beauty. Each home will be styled with table settings compliments of Peachtree Place in Northfield and florals by simply flowers, The Grand, Barbara Devlin and Jim Yonke. Housewalk tickets are $50 each and include entrance to the Boutique Shopping and Food Emporium.
Boutique shopping features holiday, decorative and custom accessories for you and your home. Vendors include Pam Wilson Jewelry, Cindy’s Treasures, Cutsiepants & More, Greenleaf Gallery, Embellishments, Little Peach, French Papers, LaPlates and artist Jack Hardman. Our Food Emporium offerings include delicious baked goods, casseroles and specialty food items sure to feed your soul and made with loving care by Church of the Holy Comforter’s own parishioners.
An elegant boxed lunch from An Apple a Day in Glencoe will be served from 11:30 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. in the Great Hall at Holy Comforter. Lunch is available for $15.
The Housewalk and Boutique is the signature event and primary fundraiser of Church of the Holy Comforter. One hundred percent of the day’s proceeds directly benefit the many local and global charities we support which include: Misericordia, Cathedral Shelter, Connections for the Homeless, A Just Harvest, Global Alliance for Africa, Good News Partners, Good News Saturday Morning , Lawrence Hall Youth Services, Primo Center for Women & Children, Holy Family Ministries, North Shore Senior Center and the Fabretto Children's Foundation.

More About Church of the Holy Comforter
The Church of the Holy Comforter is an Episcopal church that was established in Kenilworth in 1902. Each day, the ministry begins with the celebration of the Holy Eucharist. There are more than 1,000 parishoners, many of who come from other communitites, including Evanston, Northbrook and Glenview.
The church offers nursery care, a Christian pre-school, a mommy-and-me group, and youth groups. Preparing young people for an active part in society is considered an important part of the church's mission.
