 Fool's Day\, 1912. Originally opposed by Village officials\, the&nbsp\;n
 ew train service quickly became popular with commuters and the anchor fo
 r a new business district at 4th and Linden.\nChristopher S. Canning\, W
 ilmette Village President\, and CTA officials will kick-off this&nbsp\;c
 elebration at 11:00 a.m.&nbsp\; Following their brief comments\, guests 
 will have the rare opportunity to tour two historic 1923 "L" cars. The W
 ilmette Community&nbsp\;Band will&nbsp\;provide Dixieland music.\nThis e
 vent is sponsored by the CTA\, Wilmette Historical Museum\, Wilmette Cha
 mber of Commerce\, North Shore Community Bank and Village of Wilmette.
