New Trier Township to Host Summer Camp Scholarship Application Processing Day

New Trier Township will be holding an Application Processing Day for eligible residents to apply for scholarships for children’s summer camp. The event will take place from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, March 15 in the Board Room at the Township Office, 739 Elm Street, Winnetka. Staff will be on hand to assist residents with applications.

Documentation that is required to complete the application process includes 2013 or 2012 income tax return, two paycheck stubs for each parent within the last 30 days, proof of residency (current lease, letter signed by property owner or utility bill), verification of child’s enrollment in program, current fee sheet from provider and provider license number.

Please note that the child(ren) must be enrolled in the summer camp program of choice prior to the submission of an application for a camp scholarship. If proof of enrollment is not supplied, the applicant will be asked to complete camp enrollment and secure documentation before a scholarship application can be considered.
