One hundred costumed guests and raised $43,966 to provide underprivileged community members with accessible, affordable health care.

All proceeds from the event will be directed toward patient-and-family-centered services, in particular resources to create an exceptional patient and family experience, such as the Family Birthplace, where mothers and babies can receive access to high quality care regardless of their financial status. Funds will also be utilized for low-income patients who need transportation, meal coupons, bus passes, wheelchairs, medical equipment, baby diapers and clothes.

“We want to provide an exceptional experience patients won’t get anywhere else and exceed patient and family expectations,” said Roberta Luskin-Hawk, president and CEO of Presence Saint Francis Hospital. “The proceeds from this event provide an incredible opportunity to show how much we care and that we are present.”
