Trees That Feed: Making a Difference in Haiti and Beyond

In honor of Earth Day, local residents and founders Mary and Michael McLaughlin will describe their global nonprofit organization, Trees That Feed, at the Wilmette Public Library, 1242 Wilmette Avenue, on April 22.  During the program, which will be held at 2 pm and repeated at 7 pm, the McLaughlins will discuss how the organization plants breadfruit trees in Haiti and other countries to feed people, create jobs, and benefit the environment. This event is free and open to the public and co-sponsored by Go Green Wilmette.
