Watch: Young Entrepreneurs Get Crafty at Summerfest

Where some might just see duct tape, these crafty kids see accessories.

They say that truly creative people can make art out of anything — and that's especially true for these three young entrepreneurs.

Kathleen Gorman, 11, and Grace Ehlert, 9, both of Wilmette, and Maura Maloney, 11, of Chicago have started their own business selling objects made out of duct tape — ranging from wallets to purses to pencil cups.

"In January we came up with the idea," Gorman said. "We wanted to do it last year, but we weren't ready yet."

The girls are having success at Wilmette's Summerfest, where they sold most of their wallets by Friday afternoon.

The group also recently began celling pop tab bracelets, made with the silver tabs on soda cans.

In the video above, the young entrepreneurs explain how they make their famous duct-tape wallets.
