  • Why Go?: Well-known local book discussion facilitator and reviewer Judy Levin will lead a discussion of best-selling author Ann Patchett's  latest novel, "State of Wonder."  Ms. Levin has led book discussions and given reviews throughout the Chicago area for more than 25 years.

  • Why Go?: CUB holds free “phone-bill clinics” across Illinois. Bring your land line phone bill and a CUB expert will sit down with you one on one, explain all the confusing charges and give you money-saving tips. CUB shows many people how to cut their calling costs by about $200 a year.  Registration required. Call the Library at 847 256-6930.
