  1. Where/When: 7 p.m. Friday, March 18 at 3131 Techny Rd, Northbrook
    Why Go: Annie  Jr., is the student version of the popular Broadway award-winning musical. The play features and includes more than 40 students.  
    Pricing: $5 adults; $2 students/seniors.

  2. Where/When: Saturday, March 19 at the MYA Center in Highwood at 7 p.m.
    Why Go: Juilliard School graduate Rose Armbrust Griffin will perform an energetic Viola recital as part of the Music at the Fort Highwood Concert Series. Entry fee includes open wine and cheese bar.
    Pricing: $5
  3. Chicago Comic and Entertainment Expo
    Where/When: 10 a.m. Sunday, March 20 at McCormick Place.
    Why Go: You get a chance to interact with panels, exhibits, and can participate in the autograph session to see your favorite creators. Attendees even get to see clips of their favorite shows or movies before they air.
    Pricing: $20-$150
  4. The Boogers Concert
    Where/When: 4 p.m. Sunday, March 20 at Oak Park’s Wonder Works
    Why Go: With names like Crusty, Greenie and Sticky it leaves little to the imagination. This infectious trio is sure to delight the little ones with their performance at Oak Park’s Wonder Works. This band was just awarded the National Parenting Publications Gold Award for Children's audio and is finishing up a five-month concert series.

  5. Where/When: 5 p.m., Sunday, March 20 at Pinstripes in Northbrook.
    Why Go: Entertainment will include cabaret-style performances featuring GBN students and members of The Chicago Red Line. Proceeds of each ticket will be used for educational theatre opportunities and special events.
    Pricing: $50/person
