Independence Day Tastes 3: Chocolate Raspberry Burritos

Get your barbecue on this 4th of July with these recipes.

We know you've busted out the grilling goodies and are ready to fire up the pit for this long weekend. As you stock up on supplies at the grocery story, Wilmette-Kenilworth Patch has teamed up with Backyard BBQ Store to supply some recipes.

We enlisted Backyard's expertise to suggest three of their favorite dishes. Here's the sweet finale of the holiday series:

Ingredients

1. Chocolate Morsels - your favorite flavor will do

3. 9" Flour Tortillas

5.Cinnamon Sugar

Preparation

Rinse Raspberries. Lay tortilla flat and place a row of raspberries on the bottom third. Place a row of chocolate morsels above and below the raspberries. Now roll the tortilla into a burrito and wrap in foil for at least an hour to shape.

Pre-heat grill to a medium heat. Unwrap burritos and brush them with melted butter as you place them on the grill. Turn burritos after 3 to 4 minutes and cook another 3 to 4 minutes till golden brown. Brush one last time with butter and sprinkle with cinnamon sugar as you remove them from the grill. Then serve for one fabulous dessert!
