Introducing Your New Glenview Patch Editor

Hi I'm Stan, the paperless newspaper with a beard.

Born in the Ukraine, raised in Skokie, I've been writing stories since my parents got a computer when I was 5.

I wrote for my high school newspaper, I wrote for my college newspaper, I've had a blast running Northbrook Patch and now I am pumped to start sharing news and stories with folks in Glenview.

A journalism professor in college once called me weird, “in a good way.” I've worn that title with pride, and hopefully my personality will shine in the type of content I introduce to Glenview — when I am not writing the latest village news residents expect from a daily publication.

I can't wait to personally meet the people of Glenview, discover what makes this town unlike any other and help folks stay connected to their community.

If there's any kind of news or content you would like to see more of, feel free to send me a tip. I'd love to hear your ideas!

Hi Stan. I find the Patch very valuable for local news and neighborhood breaking news. But occasionally the Patch got into alerts for national and international news, and it should not. Leave that to CNN, the New York Times, etc., which are better equipped to deal with that.
