New Trier Grad Spends Summer Working for Fox News
Jacqueline Sutherland, a 2010 New Trier grad, is learning the ropes of television broadcasting at Fox News.
The highly competitive field of television broadcasting can be incredibly difficult to crack, but Jacqueline Sutherland, a 2010 graduate of New Trier High School, has a solid foot in the door having earned a summer dream job interning for Fox News, reported the Winnetka Talk.
Sutherland, a native of Kenilworth, is completing a 10-week internship in Washington D.C. before beginning her senior year at Wake Forest University. In working behind the scenes at Fox News, Sutherland has gained experience writing headlines for stories, booking guests and learning how the news comes together, according to the Winnetka Talk.
