PATCH PICKS: Where to Volunteer

With the weather warming up, we figure it's the perfect time to get out and give your time to others.

Patch Picks: Some local non-profits to check out and work with.

  1. Women's Club of Wilmette: Work with an organization that's been doing community service since the early 1900's.
  2. Rotary Club of Wilmette: Annual book drives and a great international network are just two reasons to join this non-profit.
  3. Go Green Wilmette: Learn about environmental issues and help out with the upcoming Going Green Matters event.
  4. Family Service Center: For those more interested in volunteering with families and social work.
  5. Warming House Youth Center: Check out their bowl-a-thon coming up on Feb. 27 and get involved with helping youths find a sense of self, as well as social esponsibility.
