Temps Jump Nearly 50 Degrees Monday to Monday

Remember that extreme cold and snow last Monday? There's not a lot to show for it seven days later.

What a difference a week makes.

The North Shore reached a high of about 45 degrees on Monday, which comes out to a 47 degrees warmer than the high of -2 degrees we had a week ago.

The overnight low Monday into Tuesday will dip to a not-so-bad 27 degrees, the National Weather Service forecasts. There is also a 70 percent chance of snow on Tuesday, when the high temperature could hit around 34 degrees.

Temperatures will slowly work their way back down as the weekend approaches, with a forecasted high of 17 degrees Friday.
