Sure, there's Mother's Day and Father's Day — but what about a way to celebrate your pooch?! Luckily, there's a holiday for that too.

Monday, August 26 is National Dog Day. Make time to show your furry friend just how much you love him or her. We've rounded up our top dog-friendly picks below.

1) Treat your pooch to a Canine Massage at Noah's ArkAnd check out a video of how its done here.

2) Cool off with some doggy frozen yogurtWith flavors such as Bacon Peanut Butter, these frozen treats sound almost good enough for people to love too!

3) Hit the beach with FidoThe North Shore definitely doesn't have a lack of dog beaches. Check out our round-up and see which one is closest to you.

4) Chow Down on a Hot Dog. Okay, while it may not exactly be celebrating Man's Best Friend, a hot dog is one way to celebrate this holiday. We recommend D's Haute Dogs in Winnetka!
