Rabbi Kensky, 66, of Beth Hillel Congregation Bnai Emunah is retiring at the end of June.

Rabbi Allan David Kensky of Wilmette’s Beth Hillel Congregation Bnai Emunah will be retiring at the end of June after serving for 11 years with the synagogue. The 66-year-old says the thing he enjoyed the most was the one on one interaction with people, Wilmette Life reported.

Synagogue President Arlene Gold praised Kensky’s ability to knit a segmented congregation together, whether through the 2004 merger of former Skokie-based Congregation Bnai Emunah with Beth Hillel or through the recent tough economy, Wilmette Life reported.
