Cabaret Show Titillates With Songs About Cybersex And Sweets

The Wilmette Theatre is hosting a month-long series of cabaret performances.

"Chocolate and Sex", a cabaret show performed by Kat Taylor and Bob Moreen, came to the Wilmette Theater Monday night.

Kat Taylor and Bob Moreen are both very well known in the cabaret community, and have both received acclaim in reviews in such publication as Chicago Magazine and the Chicago Tribune.

"'Chocolate and Sex" is a show that they've actually done in the city before, so this has already been together, the two of them have performed here though in the past in other different variations," stated Sam Samuelson, a co-owner of the Wilmette Theater.

Samuelson actually knew Taylor from his days as a young actor in Chicago, he met her originally in a stage production at the Marriott Theater in Lincolnshire when he was only 13.

"Chocolate and Sex" features comedic, racy songs addressing various sexual topics, such as oversexed bunnies and cybersex. Before, during and at the end of the show, the audience also received varying types of chocolates, in line with the show's title.
