For these shows the Wilmette Theatre has partnered with Chicago Underground Comedy, which the Chicago Tribune called "one of the hottest shows in town" and Chicago Magazine raved, "the hippest, hottest stand-up showcase to emerge in years." We are thrilled to present ChUC's top local comedians in headlining shows on our stage every month! This month your headliners are the hilarious Puterbaugh Sisters.  The Puterbaugh Sisters' stand-up comedy is a modern day vaudevillian spectacle act that combines characters, music, jokes and costumes. Their mission is to combine various artistic mediums and styles of entertainment to display their own brand of comedy, in other words, "Experimental Ridiculousness." Yes, they are actually sisters. They started as children performing comedy for their family at their grandmothers' house wearing her wigs. Since then they have acquired their own wigs and performed throughout Chicago, LA and the Midwest. They have opened for Judy Tenuta at The Lakeshore Theatre and Leslie and The Lys. They have performed in The New York Sketch Comedy Festival at the Upright Citiznes Brigaide Theatre and are cast members of Chicago Underground Comedy. They currently produce, "Entertaining Julia", a weekly variety show.

Ediger.  Briggs mines unexpected comedic gold from topics as diverse as life's low points to what would happen if a bored thirteen-year-old took over as announcer for the Cubs.
