 A critically acclaimed monthly stand-up comedy series on the second Saturday of each month featuring full length headlining and feature sets from the absolute best comics in Chicago, a Chicago Tribune Best Bet and Time Out Chicago Magazine Critics' Pick. For these shows the Wilmette Theatre has partnered with Chicago Underground Comedy, which the Chicago Tribune called "one of the hottest shows in town" and Chicago Magazine raved, "the hippest, hottest stand-up showcase to emerge in years." We are thrilled to present ChUC's top local comedians in headlining shows on our stage every month!

Your Headliner for this month is the hilarious Joe Fernandez!  Joe Fernandez has been performing stand-up consistently in the Chicago Comedy scene for years and was recently a Semi-Finalist for the Andy Kaufman Award. He also was the winner of the Chris Farley Scholarship given out by the Farley family for using humor in a positive manner and has improvised with comedy groups at iO Chicago, the Annoyance, and the Playground theater.  

Also Featuring Adam Burke. Originally from the UK, Adam Burke's absurdist, verbose comedy covers not only the vagaries of life in his adopted hometown of Chicago, but also the usefulness of mammoths, dogs who study law, and the importance of gangland grammar. He was recently listed as one of the Top Four Stand-Up Comedians in Chicago by Comedy.com and has appeared on WGN radio as well as at the Bridgetown Comedy Festival in Oregon and at the TBS Just For Laughs Festival in Chicago. Adam has opened for a wide variety of comedians including Jeff Ross, Maria Bamford, Doug Benson, Bo Burnham, Brendon Burns, and Robin Williams. He just recorded his first comedy album which will be released this October.

Hosted by Jeff Steinbrunner. Jeff Steinbrunner is a Chicago based comedian who spends his time daydreaming about cartoons and gameshows. Blending absurd visuals, unexpected twists and a face so smiley you sort of want to punch it, Jeff works hard to make every performance as fun and memorable as possible.
