Foreign Films Screening: Alamar

Come for coffee at 9:00am; screening at 9:30am. The Library welcomes film buffs for screenings in the Auditorium. Alamar, a Mexican film, is "...one of the true delicacies of the...year" according to the Tribune's Michael Phillips. This semi-documentary film that straddles the border of reality and fiction. A young boy and his father go on an expedition to the largest coral reef in Mexico. The resulting bonding of father and son illustrates the passing of knowledge, experience and love from one generation to the next.
