Great Age Daytime Programs presents "Berlin in Hollywood"


 GREAT AGE DAYTIME PROGRAMS PRESENTS BERLIN IN HOLLYWOOD multimedia presentation by Charles TroyThe incomparable musical theatre  historian Charles Troy presents his multimedia presentation focusing on Irving Berlin as he conquered Hollywood in the mid-1930s. From the scores for 3 Fred Astaire-Ginger Rogers pictures, to  the sparkling score of the Dick Powell-Alice Faye movie “On The Avenue”, Berlin went on to release “God Bless America” and the immortal “White Christmas”.  Enjoy this unique presentation of narrative, recorded songs (with lyrics on-screen), photos and film clips up on Wilmette Theatre’s silver screen!  Tickets $10 in advance, $12 at the door
