KIDS CONCERT SERIES PRESENTSLindsay & the Shimmieslive kindie kids rock show!"Do you wanna dance?  Lindsay & The Shimmies bring on the beat! as well as some beautiful vocals for babies, kids and adults!" -Jenna Murfin, CHIRP Radio Lindsay Weinberg has been fueled by music since she was a kid herself. Now as an adult, she fills her days teaching, playing, and singing with children at the Old Town School of Folk Music.  Joined by the rhythm and harmonies of Heather Perry and Aerin Tedesco, also teachers at Old Town, Lindsay & The Shimmies fill the ears of kids and adults with fun, catchy tunes that get feet tapping and voices singing along. They have performed at the Chicago Folk & Roots festival, the Beat Kitchen Concerts for Kids series, Bookamania at the Harold Washington Library, the Welles Park Gazebo summer series, and more. Lindsay & The Shimmies has recorded one EP entited "Bright Colors." You can stream it HERE, so you can dance both at home and in the ailses on December 1! "Lindsay and The Shimmies genuinely love and delight in the music they rock for young families.  With sweet vocal harmonies, a big sense of humor, and a reverence for childhood, the tunes are magical, memorable, and make you want to get up and dance, dance, dance to the beat.
