    When/Where: Lincoln, Damen and Ashland Avenues, Chicago. Friday June 10 from 5 to 10 p.m., Saturday-Sunday June 11 and 12 from noon to 10 p.m.

  3. When/Where: Thursday, June 9 at Des Plaines History Center, 781 Pearson St. 6 p.m. - 8 p.m.
    Why Go: Watch a short thriller made during the 1970s, The Mask With Eyes, filmed in Des Plaines, which features Dave and Russ Hund, who will be at the event to talk about making the movie, footage of Frontier Days, a festival from 1950 where people dressed up like pioneers/cowboys, a driver’s ed training film, and more. Plus, there’s free popcorn.

  4. When/Where: , 2200 Lee St, Des Plaines Friday, June 10 at 7 p.m.
    Why Go: Enjoy the outdoors with family and laugh along to this animated favorite that has a little something for everyone.

  5. Winnetka Antiques Show
    When/Where: Winnetka Ice Arena, 490 Hibbard Road, Winnetka, Friday, June 10, 5 to 9 p.m.; Sat. June 11, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.; Sat. June 12, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
    Why Go: Top quality antiques from many states and England.
    Pricing: $10 admission for all three days.

  6. When/Where: Saturday, June 11 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., , 7961 Golf Rd, Morton Grove
    Why Go: Meet with representatives from adoption and rescue agencies. A staff veterinarian from the Morton Grove Animal Hospital provides dog and cat owners with professional advice. You can also get information on pet-related products and services providers.

    Why Go: An afternoon of family fun with live entertainment, special activities and everything from chicken tikka to hot dogs.

  8. St. Joseph Cemetery Walking Tours
    When/Where: St. Joseph’s Cemetery at the corner of Lake Avenue and Ridge Road, Saturday, June 11 and Saturday, July 16 from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
    Why Go: Explore one of the oldest cemeteries in the Chicago Archdiocese for the first time! St. Joseph’s Cemetery was founded in 1843 and attendees will get to learn about some of the area’s first business owners, soldiers and more.
    Price: $5 for non-members and Free for historical society members
  9. A Performing Arts Showcase
    When/Where: Auditorium of the Community Recreation Center, 3000 Glenview Rd., Wilmette on June 12 from 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
    Why Go: Performing arts students and staff will perform musical, dance and theatrical pieces they learned throughout the year.
