    Where/When: Saturday, Feb. 26, 12 p.m. to 1 pm. at the Wilmette Public Library
    Why Go: Nothing's better than getting to eat a craft project.

  2. Where/When: Saturday, Feb. 26, 2 p.m. at the Winnetka Public Library, 768 Oak St.
    Why Go: Celebrate the man who created, Green Eggs and Ham with stories, games and cake.

  3. The Merry Wives of Windsor by William Shakespeare
    When/Where: Saturday, Feb. 26 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Wilmette Public Library
    Why Go: The free event is a great way to give the older kids a head start on their literature classes.

  4. Chicago Land Kids Expo
    Where/When: 9-6 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 26 and 10-5 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 27
    Why Go: The ultimate kid universe under one roof. Kids can play on inflatable rides and games, hang out at the petting zoo and party with Radio Disney.
    Pricing: $10 for Adults, $5 for kids ages three and up.

  5. Where/When: Des Plaines Theater, Saturday, Feb. 26 at 7 p.m.
    Why Go: This family-friendly, modern take on vaudeville will feature performers whose talents range from juggling to comedy, magic and more.
