Photo Gallery: A Fashionable Night Remembering Old Hollywood

Fashion icon Nena Ivon hosted Hurray for Hollywood at the Wilmette Theater Thursday.

Guests gathered at the on Thursday night to get a behind-the-scenes look at the designers who inspired fashion on and off the silver screen in the 1930's and 1940's. Hosted by fashion icon Nena Ivon, the Hurray for Hollywood fashion show featured top Factor runway models, clips from classic films and a brief history of costume designers and their influence on fashion trends.

"Costume designers were art directors of femininity," explained Ivon while discussing garments created by early design pioneers like Howard Greer, Edith Head and Orry Kelly. 

The show also featured garments by Chalk of Evanston in a variety of contemporary fashions. Factor Model Management contest winner Caroline Winter made an appearance near the end of the show.
