On April 1, the Illinois State Poetry Society kicked off Poetry Month by showcasing its members' work in public libraries across the state, including   To continue the celebration, Wilmette-Kenilworth Patch is hosting a weekly series of local poetry.

This week, resident and poet Carolyn Jevelian shares two works on Wilmette.
