Wilmette Woman Becomes 3rd Winningest Jeopardy Champ

The 31-year-old grew up in Kenilworth and attended New Trier.

Julia Collins has earned herself more than $250,000 and a place in the Jeopardy record book when she won her 12th consecutive game this week, according to an article in TribLocal.

Collins, 31, grew up in Kenilworth and now lives in Wilmette and went to New Trier before transferring to boarding school her junior year, the article says. Only her immediate family, including her mom who attended the tapings, knows how many more games she has to win.

To catch up with the No. 2 champion, Collins will need to win 19 consecutive games. The all-time champ won 74 in a row.
