Some malls and large retailers north of Chicago will keep special hours for the holiday shopping kickoff.
As Thanksgiving draws to a close Thursday, people throughout country will put down the turkey legs and pick up their wallets, ready to go bargain hunting. For those looking to score some Black Friday deals, here is a list of store hours at North Shore malls and large retailers.
Old Orchard Shopping Mall, Skokie
The outdoor shopping mall opens a bit earlier than usual for Black Friday. Shopping starts at 8 a.m. and closes at 10 p.m.

Northbrook
Northbrook Court opens slightly earlier and closes later than on a normal Friday. However, other Northbrook businesses, including some located in the mall, are keeping more extreme hours.
