Dancing in the Streets: Wilmette Celebrates Summerfest

Chamber of Commerce Host Event of Music, Arts, Food, Children's Activities

Downtown Wilmette was overrun with activity this weekend as the first Summerfest was held. The celebration spans two days and combines a variety of events; mixing arts, music, food, shopping, children's activities, and more. The event is put on by the Wilmette and Kenilworth's Chamber of Commerce.

Nada Becker, of the Chamber of Commerce, stated of the event, "We have a great fun family event for the whole community. It gives them a chance to see what businesses are here, meet some of our nonprofits and have a great time."
