  • Why Go?: The art exhibit features the top-winning student pieces from 21 different Chicagoland high schools – more than 100 pieces will be on display. The artwork includes five categories: painting, drawing, three-dimensional, photography, and graphic communication.

  • Why Go?: The Woman’s Club of Wilmette will be holding its 50th Annual Book Review Series in May. The second book in the series is "P.S. I Still Hate It Here!", a collection of laugh-out-loud letters by kids about their wacky camp experiences.  Diane Falanga, the book’s author and local Wilmette mom will leading the review on May 16th.  At this review, guests will have the chance to purchase this newly published book from The Book Stall and have it signed by the author.

  • Why Go?: Judy Stigger, Post-Adoption Therapist with The Cradle, will present a program, “Cross-Cultural Adoption: Exploring the Issues, Personal and Global.”  Ms. Stigger was previously Director of The Cradle’s International Adoption Services and serves as content expert for AdoptionLearningPartners.org. She is the mother of two now grown, cross-racially placed children.
