VIDEO: Community Fair Spotlights Green Living

Go Green Wilmette hosted its 5th annual Going Green Matters event on Sunday.

Almost 800 people attended Going Green Wilmette's 5th annual environmental fair Sunday at the . Volunteers and exhibitors included New Trier students, Wilmette's Village Manager Timothy Frenzer, green business owners and a slew of environmental experts.

The four-hour event attracted residents from around the area, as well as featured 10, 30-minute talks on progressive transportation, food production and more.

"This event is bigger, it's better organized—everything we've wanted to accomplish, we managed to put in place," Go Green President Beth Drucker said when reflecting on previous fairs.
