You can find a large variety of pets at the Wilmette Pet Center on Green Bay Road. The store, which has been around since the '40s, has some animals you'd expect to find: fish, birds, and a few dogs. But along with those you will find more exotic options, like Bearded Dragons, Chinchillas, and Waxy Monkey Tree Frogs.
In addition to selling pets and pet supplies, the Wilmette Pet Center also does its part to help local animals and organizations like Adopt-a-Pet by serving as a foster home for homeless cats and dogs. Stop in and check out the wonderful variety of animals they have.
