Four Scale Model Cars Taken in Home Burglary

The following arrest information was provided by the Wilmette Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Residential Burglary
A home on the 700 block of Forest Ave. was broken into between July 4 and July 8, police reports state. An unknown offender(s) broke out the glass of the rear door and was able to gain entry into the residence. The victims stated that they were out of town until July 8. Reports state that the home was ransacked, and a watch and four scale model cars were taken. 

Auto Burglary
Between July 7 and July 8, a vehicle on the 100 block of 6th St. was broken into, police reports state. An unknown offender(s) took a cup containing approximately $20 in change.

Theft
An unknown offender took a resident's blue boy's mountain bike from the Centennial Park bike rack on July 8, police reports state. 

Theft
A Winnetka resident reported that on the evening of July 8, an unknown offender(s) took her beach bag with her purse inside of it from Gillson Park, police reports state. The victim cancelled her debit and credit cards. 

Cannabis Activity
Three juveniles from Evanston received local ordinance citations for possession of cannabis, Wilmette Police reports state. One 16-year-old from Evanston received a citation for possession of cannabis, another 16-year-old received citations for possession of cannabis, alcohol and drug paraphernalia and a 15-year-old received a citation for possession of drug paraphernalia. An additional 15-year-old Evanston male was with them but was released without charges.
