Kenilworth to Host Green Bay Road Planning Workshop on May 28

The village is moving toward the final phases of the Green Bay Road Transportation and Streetscape Plan.

 

Kenilworth residents are invited to review the concept plans for the Green Bay Road Transportation and Streetscape Plan and provide feedback during the second Community Planning Workshop at 7 p.m., May 28, at the Kenilworth Club, according to a news release

The village is moving toward the final phases of the plan and will be sharing the concept plans, which include new roadway design for Green Bay Road and bike path alignment of the Green Bay Trail, and will also introduce possibilities for streetscape improvements to Green Bay Road.

The Green Bay Road Corridor Transportation and Streetscape Plan is funded by a planning grant from the Regional Transportation Authority and will serve as a foundation for future infrastructure planning, land use and development, urban design, streetscape improvement, and traffic and transit circulation enhancements in the village.
